It’s interesting to me to see cultural differences even between states. No one in the state of Texas seems prepared for this winter storm and most importantly, no one carries an ice scrapper in their car. In Oklahoma, it’s pretty mandatory (even in the Spring) and you’ll regret those moments when you don’t, having to call a friend over who is a little less stuck and spent at least 30 minutes scrapping their car to come over and scrape yours. To wake up a little extra every morning watching the news scroll through all the closings for the day and the next day and the next. Having a week of school off hoping it’d be around finals for little bit of extra time to keep “studying.” That won’t happen here, but all the little details are neat to think about.
This ISN’T bipolar weather. Try again in March.
